Founded by Richard Nelson LLP, the Medic Assistance Scheme is operated by Marie Dancer, the firm’s Managing Partner. The scheme provides expert legal advice for medical professionals, with a team of experienced lawyers on hand to support you in fitness to practise investigations by regulatory bodies, investigations by employers and, where necessary, in criminal proceedings.
Although many healthcare professionals are members of a medical defence organisation, some do not share this protection. Even those who are members may still find that they need assistance in investigations, if, for various reasons, their defence organisation won’t support them.
Marie Dancer is an experienced and successful solicitor. Over her years of practice, she has gained significant experience in defending a range of professionals before a variety of regulators, including the GMC, NMC, GDC, GPhC, HCPC and GOC.
Richard Nelson LLP founded the Medic Assistance Scheme to help those medical professionals who found themselves otherwise unrepresented in the face of an investigation. Working with us, you can have complete confidence that Marie and her team are working tirelessly to secure you the best outcome.
