The Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Code of Ethics for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians is available from their web site from where it can be downloaded as a pdf document.
In addition to this, the RPS has also produced a number ofpProfessional standards and guidance documents which expand upon the principles of the Code for specific areas of practice or professional activities. These include:
- Professional standards for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in positions of authority
- Professional standards and guidance for patient consent
- Professional standards and guidance for patient confidentiality, and
- Professional standards and guidance for the sale and supply of medicines
