The deaneries are responsible for the management and delivery of postgraduate medical education and for the continuing professional development of all doctors and dentists. Much of the work of the Deanery focuses on work involving training, supervision and career management to improve patient care and support doctors, in particular
in conjunction with the medical universities and GMC.
