GMC consults on management of fitness to practise cases

The GMC announces start of 3 month consultation into the management of fitness to practise hearings, looking at whether, during the period immediately preceding the hearing, there can be more effective communication between doctor and defence teams in order to agree sensible time estimates.

College of Optomitrists

The College of Optomitrists produce their own Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Professional Conduct which can be found on their web site. These include advice relating to the fitting and supply of contact lenses and on the duty to provide aftercare.
